PbucketPhotobucket, one of the largest photo and video sharing sites on the web, has rolled out a new bulk uploading feature. Previously uploading the site was a tedious three-at-a-time affair, but the new uploader can grab as many as one hundred images in one upload.

The bulk upload features can be reached from the traditional uploader page, which now displays a link to the bulk version. To use the bulk version just select a folder on your hard drive and you'll be presented with a list of photos, complete with thumbnails, in the right hand side of the upload screen.

Just click on the images that you'd like to add to your upload queue. To select multiple items either drag your mouse or use the shift key. Selected photos are denoted by an orange check mark at the bottom right corner of the thumbnail. To unselect an image just click the red minus sign in lower right corner of the thumbnail.

The bulk uploader can also be used to enter descriptions and rotate images.

Along with the bulk uploader, Photobucket has also added a privacy setting to control who can see your images on an album by album basis, but alas, the feature is only available for Pro users, which is just silly. Should you happen to be a Pro member, you can take advantage of the new privacy settings and still give access to private albums by granting a ???guest??? password.

Although Photobucket's bulk uploader hardly breaks any new ground, it should be welcome news for fans of the site who want an easier way to get photos on to the web. For more details check out the Photobucket bulk uploader tutorial.
